Albuquerque, NM 9/29/14 - 10/13/14 Post 5

Another great morning at the balloon festival.  Unfortunately, weather canceled the 'Glow-D-O' this evening(rain and wind).  They still did the fireworks, but we had a great view of those from our rig.  We are hoping that the weather will cooperate for the last 'Glow-D-O' tomorrow night.

This morning we saw yet a few more new balloons and scored a few more trading cards.  We are going back to previous posts and updating names of balloons and where they came from, so if you are interested, be sure to check back with the previous posts for this information.  Some of the names are pretty cute.  Teri's favorite is 1 down 8 to go, a cat, as in nine lives.

We finished this morning by watching one of the many balloon competitions.  This morning was the target drop and also an attempt to land a ring on a pole.  If your balloon touches down you are out.  Enjoy!

Be sure to check out Pencil Boy's reflection in his glasses of the many balloons and also Snowbird's Balloon festival pins on his camera lanyard.  Fun!
